Climate resilient urban development workshop – Suriname
The Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) continues to implement its partnership with the Caribbean Community Climate Change Center (CCCCC). Building on the success of the national workshops in Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago, CLGF will be leading a national workshop on Climate Resilient Urban Development in Suriname in October 2025. CLGF at the African School of Decentralisation 2025
CLGF is once again delighted to continue its partnership with the African School of Decentralisation for the fifth year, with the event taking place in Cape Town from 13 to 25 October 2025. The theme for this edition is Decentralisation and Finances, focusing on how decentralisation governance in Africa is financed, and on the systems and rules for the prudent use of public finances at decentralised level. Belize City taking the next step in sustainable mobility
