City-to-city decentralised cooperation

16 August 2015

CLGF Deputy Secretary-General Lucy Slack participated in the special interactive session on Building inclusive south-south and triangular cooperation to support implementation of the post-2015 agenda at the urban level, organised by the World Alliance of Cities Against Poverty in Macao, China on 15 August. The two day high-level multi-stakeholders forum discussed ways to develop new strategic and actionable recommendations to advance the vision of South-South cooperation by highlighting best practices from countries, UN agencies, private-sector enterprises and civil-society to address sustainable development with a particular focus on poverty eradication, food security and public private partnerships. Ms Slack subsequently travelled to Manila for meetings with the Asian Development Bank and other development partners.
