CLGF Asia Office

CLGF has a regional structure across the Commonwealth with regional offices which allow closer and more responsive dialogue and interaction. The South Asia regional office enables CLGF to strengthen its relationship with international and regional partners, such as UNDP, UNCDF and the Commonwealth Secretariat, and with members in the region. The office, headed by the Programme Officer, has overall oversight and management of the implementation of programmes. A national project office is also located in Colombo (Sri Lanka) to manage the strengthening local governance for national development project. CLGF Board members in the region provide leadership and participate in the lobbying and advocacy work of the programme as required.
