CLGF West Africa  Office

CLGF has a regional structure across the Commonwealth with regional offices which allow closer and more responsive dialogue and interaction. The West Africa regional office is located in the NALAG offices in Ghana and enables CLGF to strengthen its relationship with international and regional partners, such as UNDP, UN-Habitat, the Commonwealth Secretariat and with members in the region.

The office, headed by the Regional Programme Officer, has overall oversight and management of the implementation of programmes. A technical committee comprising senior officials of ministries responsible for local government and local government associations in the region provides advice for the programmes, monitoring progress and providing quality services.
