The City of Port of Spain hosted the latest meeting of CLGFs Inclusive Cities Network where representatives from Canada, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, and the UK shared ideas and good practices on ways in which cities can best support their growing youth populations and engage them effectively in the work of the council. CLGF Pacific hosted the 2nd Pacific Local Government Forum in Honiara on 5-7 November. The Forum provided an opportunity to address current and emerging local government issues and challenges, set an agenda for local government reform, and strengthen intergovernmental relations and collaborative governance. CLGF Pacific will be holding the second Pacific Local Government Forum (PLGF) in Honiara, Solomon Islands on 4 9 November 2012.
