04 November 2019

Applications are now open for the Ashden Awards for climate solutions from 4 November to 11 December 2019.

As the urgency of the climate situation becomes clearer, and deadlines for meeting targets nearer, solutions that leave no-one behind are desperately needed.

Reasons to apply include:

• Prize fund of up to £20,000

• Communications support and media materials

• On-going tailored support to help you grow

Global platform

Established in 2001, the Ashden Awards are globally recognised as a mark of excellence in the field of green energy. This global platform can showcase your work and has been supported by the UK international development department - DFID - for the last four years. The awards can help game-changing, sustainable energy companies, technologies and leaders to grow their transformational work.

If you are part of a scheme, or know of one, that is:

• tackling the climate emergency using natural solutions

• breaking new ground in renewable energy generation

• reducing energy demand, increasing access to energy or

• encouraging more sustainable forms of transport
