Online event: digital tools

    The Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) and the Commonwealth Women in Local Government Network (ComWLG) is hosting two dialogue sessions to share and discuss Digital tools to support women’s inclusion in local government. 

     

    Digital Technologies to promote women’s inclusion in politics in Local Government – Lessons from the Commonwealth

     

    • 22 November 2022 at 8pm GMT (Pacific /Caribbean/Canada) (22 November, afternoon in Canada & Caribbean and 23 November, morning in Pacific)
    • 30 November 2022 at 10am GMT (Africa/Asia)

    The sessions will explore digital /online tools and materials developed to support capacity building for prospective women leaders, to increase awareness on the roles and responsibilities of local councilors, to breakdown gender stereotypes blocking women entering local government, on-line campaigning and profile building among other issues.

     

    Presenters will be sharing on digital tools developed in Jamaica, Pakistan, Canada and for the South Asia Region.

     

    Join the conversation to hear about the tools, the experiences of their implementation and to discuss applicability to your region.
