Rapid Planning Toolkit training launched

13 October 2021

CLGF is pleased to announce the launch of the Rapid Planning Toolkit Introductory Course.

This will take place on 11 November, 2021. from 8 to 9.30am GMT, as part of the virtual conference: City Expo Malaysia. Register for free for the conference here. Further joining details for the event itself will be provided in due course.

The Rapid Planning Toolkit, developed by the Prince’s Foundation, in partnership with CLGF, CAP, CAA and ACU, is a 4-step guide, which aims to assist city leaders in addressing rapid population growth and climate change, by creating robust and implementable walkable neighbourhood plans.

The Introductory Course is an 8-hour learning piece which provides an overview of what the four steps entail, and which should help local leaders and planners decide whether it would be useful for their city or town.

On completion of the course participants will receive a CPD certificate endorsed by the partner organisations.

The toolkit has been produced as a response to the need to prioritise the issue of rapid urbanisation and the need to plan and prepare for our cities of the future. It relates to the Call to Action.
