For the very first time, Africa played host to the meeting of the Commonwealth Trade Ministers. From 16-20 June 2025, ministers gathered together in Namibia to discuss a range of critical issues.
Representatives and members of CLGF meet Ghana's Vice-President

Representatives and members of CLGF met with Ghana’s Vice-President Hon John Dramani Mahama during a recent CLGF seminar in Ghana. They informed him of the outcomes of the seminar and discussed greater cooperation on local government issues with Ghana and the region. Local government representatives from Ghana, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa and UK who had attended the workshop were part of the delegation.
