Young people: your Commonwealth needs your views!
12 May 2022
With 60% of the Commonwealth's population aged 30 or under, CLGF believes that getting the views of young people, and incorporating them into tangible plans for the way we prepare for the future, is not just important, it is crucial!
As part of the work of the Commonwealth Sustainable Cities Network (CSCN), CLGF is developing a short think-piece to support reflections on the key issues facing young people in cities and the possible actions that city governments can take to address these. The aim is to explore such themes as:
- economic inclusion
- social inclusion
- housing and
- democratic inclusion
This will inform the work of the Commonwealth Youth for Sustainable Urbanisation Network and local government input into the important discussions around Youth and Cities in upcoming meetings at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali, Rwanda in June, including the Commonwealth Youth Forum
Survey details and eligibility
Please complete if you are aged between 15-35.
Deadline: SUNDAY 15TH MAY 2022
Thank you in advance for participating in this important issue. The survey will take approximately 7 minutes to complete. With rapid urbanisation and the urgent need for sustainable development a key priority, the views of young people are vital to ensure that the cities of the future are fit for you, and take into account your needs, requirements and dreams! We look forward to receiving your responses.
