Working towards helping set up a LGA in Lesotho
Building on CLGFs ongoing work to promote and protect the interests of local government in Southern Africa CLGF joined with SARO representatives Maurice Mbolela, Executive Secretary at LGA of Zambia, and Ketlhomilwe Moletsane, Secretary General of the BALA , to participate in a workshop to support the establishment of a local government association in Lesotho. New CLGF-backed waste management project in Swaziland
A new waste management capacity-building project was launched in Matsapha, Swaziland on 10 February where the town has long suffered from rubbish being disposed of at the side of the road. The project is one of CLGFs activities in Swaziland that are part of CLGFs DFID-funded programme in Southern Africa. Read More
Historic agreement to support good local governance
CLGF has signed an historic partnership agreement with the European Union to support good governance and sustainable development at local level.
