As an important local government conference came to a close this week in Islamabad, a range of recommendations have been made to inform the way forward. At a regional workshop held in December in Nadi, CLGF Pacific members gathered to develop a collective understanding of the issues and processes relating to the implementation of the New Urban Agenda (NUA) in the Pacific region. CLGF was in the Ghanaian capital Accra in December, hosting a national event entitled Local Economic Development: a Framework for implementation of the SDGs.
