Launch of the Women in Local Government Network
At its flagship conference last week in Malta, CLGF launched a new network for Commonwealth Women in local Govenrment. With the aim of supporting more women to get involved in local government as politicians and practitioners, and to increase the influence of women in the decisions made about local priorities, delegates gathered at the beautiful Verdala Palace, the summer residence of the President of Malta.
